TACDUR Lost Signal is discontinued as for now. The game (prototype) is free or donation-based now.

There will probably not be any more updates on this game page. Except for maybe a small in-game update.

TACDUR the sci-fi universe is still growing and is part of a different game. It will appear in the future in other games.

Reason for discontinuing

A combination of lack of interest in the game and AI advancement in game development has caused a new game to be in development that have a higher chance to get a lot of attention and support.

Lack of interest: 2 people bought the game total and there was less than 10 likes on social media posts on the game updates.

AI advancement: During a yearly plan, reasearch into AI advancements suggests that AI will take over all computer-related jobs within 2 years. Earlier than expected compared to previous research done at TISTOU GAMES. No future prediction could be estimated past the "singularity" that Ray Kurtzweil preditcs. Therefore a smaller and simpler and faster-to-get-social-attention project was chosen. So that a game is made before AI disrupts the game industry past singularity.

The new game project is a digital twin of the town Jörn, and the first related product is a short detective-game inspired by LA Noire. The hopes is that at least the local population will be 'baffled' and cause a lot of attention towards the project. Partly because Jörn is a tiny town with just 700 people. Creating a digital twin of Jörn is a novel idea that have a high chance of getting attention. The hopes is that the support of the local population will also spread, since the game is going to be a good game.
